Intensity Does Not Equal Intimacy

Maybe you can relate to this:

You meet someone ( either a potential romantic interest, or just a possible new friend), and there is that “click”

That feeling that you’ve somehow known them all your life.  They seem so comfortable and familiar to you.  Perhaps you even think that it was fate that brought the two of you together.

The relationship starts off with a bang.  Lots of texting and calling and time spent together.

It feels amazing… until the other person does a slow fade ( or a quick exit) and you are left feeling confused, hurt, and disappointed.
